The body on this early 60’s Tele was in rough shape; it required a large hole to be filled and a center route to be filled with a wood plug. The top was then leveled and laminated with a nice curly maple veneer and the body finished in a 3 color nitro sunburst finish. The veneering of the top prevents the repairs from telescoping to the finish surface. This is an example of an early Tele saved from the trash bin and now worth some real money.
