This is an example of a repair done on a broken vintage Gibson headstock. The entire headstock had to be re-enforced and then refinished. New decals were applied to the headstock face while the serial # on the back of the headstock had to be maintained without removal during refinish. The entire headstock was refinished in nitrocellulose lacquer.
